Introducing Scott Grills | COO

First, Scott Grills is joining LPC as our new COO. Scott will take responsibility for day-to-day Company-wide operations from our San Diego office.

Scott knows foam fabrication, corrugated, and wood packaging inside-out, and brings to LPC a 40-year operations and sales background in the packaging industry plus a wealth of experience with leading large teams and managing multiple manufacturing facilities in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Among his key tasks will be to maintain and improve integration among our various operations departments, specifically in relation to work handoffs from one department to another.

As well as optimizing production capacity, Scott’s work with our various teams will strengthen our delivery reliability and enable us to be even more responsive to short notice orders.

Introducing Jason Valentine | Design Manager

Second, we’ve just internally promoted Jason Valentine to the role of LPC Design Manager.

Jason is a highly experienced Custom Industrial Packaging Design Engineer who has been with us for more than 26 years and will take the lead in the creation of new packaging designs — including developing specifications and bill of materials.

Jason has previously led the development of intuitive pricing tools and time-saving calculators that has dramatically simplified packaging development across our organization.

He is passionate about creating innovative, unique packaging designs that not only are aesthetically pleasing, but are true to the form of industrial packaging standards.

As our new Design Manager, he’ll be at the forefront of our mission to continue to deliver Smart. Packaging. Fast.
