One-size-fits-all packaging rarely works for aerospace and space components. That’s why our packaging solutions are custom designed for precision fit and performance.

We understand the unique challenges of Aerospace, UAV/Drones and Space

Components and equipment manufactured for aerospace, UAV/drone tech and space applications pose very particular packaging challenges. Parts such as avionics, sensors, or satellite components are delicate and costly. The packaging must protect them from shocks, vibrations, and impacts during shipping or handling. For instance, a fighter jet’s radar system may require transport across continents without any wires becoming dislodged.

Often they’re unevenly weighted and consist of asymmetrical shapes, sizes and configurations that aren’t amenable to standard crates, boxes or cases. Sometimes they must be used (and re-packed) in the field in extreme environments. Sometimes, they are particularly sensitive to shock and impact. Sometimes they are difficult to ship and/or store. Quite often, it’s all of these things!

Then there’s environmental resilience. Aerospace and defense gear often faces extreme conditions—temperature swings from freezing to scorching, humidity, or even salt spray if it’s near the coast. The shipping packaging may require materials such as corrosion-resistant metals, desiccants, or hermetic sealing to prevent rust and degradation.

And there are the security concerns. Sensitive and top-secret equipment can’t fall into the wrong hands. Sensitive projects might need extra layers of security on the packaging such as tamper-evident seals, and even GPS tracking.

That’s why our packaging solutions emphasize not just performance, but a precision fit, durability, accessibility, security and especially ease of use.

We are experts in designing specialized, custom foam and wood contours to cradle and support odd-shaped components, as well as protect delicate surfaces, such as painted finishes, against in-transit impact.

We can design and manufacture other useful additions such as ramps, hinges, rolling casters, shock mount floater bases, viewing ports, lids and toolless solutions that need (as the name suggests) no specialist tools to pack and unload.

Or we can apply our expertise as one of the USA’s few full technical dealers for Pelican-Hardigg cases and an authorized technical dealer of SKB Cases to customize a hard case with precision-cut cushioning to protect and organize sensitive parts such as controllers and batteries for drones, and even add built-in external charging points without compromising dustproofing and water resistance.

Our engineers are familiar with the specific packaging requirements demanded by aviation/aerospace and associated industries and comply with the various Mil Standards and AS9100 requirements.

We understand the specialized program management and supply requirements (such as strict quality clauses or fixed-price inputs) of primes and Tier 1 suppliers that operate under large government contracts. We can work with you to support your bids for government work.

We are also ITAR registered and is committed to maintaining the highest cybersecurity standards as a contractor in the Aerospace and Defense Industrial Base. We comply with the current DFARS requirements and align with NIST SP 800-171 standards. Additionally, we continue to enhance our cybersecurity posture as we progress toward Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) readiness.
