Hector’s How To: How to use an external ramp

Ever wondered how to use an external ramp? Stop wondering, Hector is here with the answer. External ramps are recommended to be manipulated by two persons to avoid injuries.

STEP 1
Start from loosing latches from the crate and tilt upper side of the ramp

STEP 2
Th ramp will have a custom handle for easy manipulation, could be made of wood or metal.
Turn the ramp and place it on the floor.

STEP 3
The ramp has a ¼ thick removable piece in case you will need to drop the ramp when loading or unloading the rack.

STEP 4
Lay down the ramp before trying to match it to the floater and then just slide it in place. This is for easy placement.

Besides the removable ¼ plywood piece, the ramp also has a “stopper” that once you have the ramp placed, this assures the ramp from falling off the base while loading/unloading the rack.
(To remove the ramp, you would need to lift just enough for free the ‘stopper” from the base and then pull it out).

STEP 6
To close the crate simply lift the upper side of ramp.

STEP 7
Using the handles, turn it around and place the bottom into the base

Push the ramp into the crate and close it using the latches.
