Precision engineering and quality construction

Manufactured at our Milpitas, CA facility, our ATA cases are built from the highest-quality parts. Each case is custom-made to exacting design specifications and can be customized with foam inserts and cushioning systems, ensuring a precise fit and a professional look for your equipment. Designed to safely transport loads of up to 400+ lbs, these cases are dust-free and watertight to a depth of 3.3 feet for 30 minutes. They also provide protection against shock and vibration, making them ideal for Class A surfaces.

Versatile applications

These cases can be easily adapted for different functions and situations, including acting as a permanent outer “shell” for technology that never leaves the case, such as monitors and rack units. They are also an excellent way to isolate and protect sub-assemblies and improve organization and usability through custom drawers and foam interiors.

ATA case custom foam experts

Where necessary, we can design foam cushion inserts to isolate and protect individual parts or sub-assemblies inside your ATA case. In doing so, we can also improve equipment access through better organization. We can build precise foam assemblies either from your own designs or CAD files, or we can create a prototype for you to review, then take it to full production.

Functional and reusable for exceptional cost-per-trip value

ATA cases combine inherently strong design with materials that deliver superior structural integrity, excellent size-to-strength ratio, and the durability needed for repeated use. They are not simply functional but highly adaptable to changing user needs and can be extremely cost-effective — especially when viewed on a cost-per-trip basis, rather than simple acquisition cost.

Durable and customizable protection

ATA cases, also known as road cases, flight cases, or transit cases, are durable and customizable containers designed for easy and repeated transport. Built for strength, they feature modifiable components that allow them to adapt to various needs and applications.

These cases are easy to handle with heavy-duty castors, handles, and recessed latches, and are reinforced with rugged, extruded aluminum alloy edges. Built to last through hundreds of trips, ATA cases offer an affordable solution for high-use, repeated transport.

The choice of three different case materials

Flight Panel plastic

A lightweight polypropylene board, textured on one side. The manufactured cases are 30% to 40% lighter than laminated plywood, although it is not a durable as wood and costs more. Use when weight is a substantial consideration.

High Impact ABS

A single-sided plastic laminated to hardwood plywood. This plywood can be either solid core, or have multiple layers. ABS stands for Acrylonitrile-butadiene styrene.

Pelican-Hardigg

Film Laminated plywood. High-quality birch plywood with the outside laminated with a black phenolic pattern and the inside a smooth black phenolic. This high-precision material makes excellent case panels as it is rigid, lightweight, and thin.
