Qualification Requirements

  • Only customers with current A/R (no more than 5 days past terms. Terms >45 days not eligible) and with a history of on time payments, or who prepay are eligible for the Smart. Packaging. Fast. Guaranteed. Program with Guaranteed Ship Dates.
  • New customers are automatically granted eligibility and then evaluated after 60 days.

  • Guaranteed Ship Dates will be confirmed by LPC on an Order Confirmation sent via email once we receive a PO, customer signed/approved drawing/design, AND commitment to tooling, if any. If new tooling is required, LPC Customer Service will calculate the Guaranteed Ship Date including the Tooling lead time.
  • The date and time an order is ready to be shipped or picked up is used for determining if the Guaranteed Ship Date is met.
  • When a guaranteed order is ready to ship or for pickup, an email will be sent to the customer. If this date is on or before the Guaranteed Ship Date, the Guaranteed Ship Date has been met and no penalty is due.
  • Change or Push orders after Guaranteed Ship Date Order Confirmation require a new Guaranteed Ship Date Order Confirmation and are subject to LPC incurred costs (if any).
  • Penalties are paid “per day late”. Each business calendar day, during business days, after your Guaranteed Ship Date count as 1 day late. For example, if you place a $100 Rush Delivery and your 25% per day late Guaranteed Ship Date is Friday, but your order is not ready to be shipped until Tuesday, your penalty due would be $50.
  • Penalty payments, if due, will be sent by check and included with the order or customers may opt for a credit memo. The maximum penalty cannot be more than 100% of the quoted price of guaranteed items.
  • For blanket orders, a “release order” must be issued to generate a Guaranteed Ship Date Order Confirmation.
  • No cancellation on Rush or Expedited/HOT Deliveries.
  • Guaranteed Standard Delivery orders cancelled after Guaranteed Ship Date Order Confirmation are subject to costs incurred before cancellation.
  • LPC standard cancellation policy applies to Guaranteed Standard Delivery orders not yet in production.
  • Products that do not meet quality standards are considered NOT ready to be shipped for penalty calculations; LPC must be notified of quality deviations within 1 business day, otherwise penalties are waived.
  • Lead times shown in the table above are subject to change. Lead times available for YOUR order will be included in your quote.
  • Rush and Expedited/HOT premiums will be billed as separate line items. Quoted prices will not be adjusted.
